Just in case anyone doubts the sheer power of the fruit of our collective creative loins, we offer into evidence this tidbit from "across the pond." It's a story about the Prime Minister of England, who can't get a certain TV show out of his head...

Is it March already..?

So we were just cleaning up the MOA HQ as we’re wont to do each year that we don’t win an Oscar, and we uncovered our list of New Years Resolutions which include the following:
1) Blog more…oops. We’ll work on that one…
2) Create more awesome shows… pwhew! At least we’ve done that! Between the work we’ve done on The 7Cs, the new show we have in development with a CompaNy that cannot be named, AND another pride and joy project in the works, we’re covered on this one.
3) Publish creator-owned comics that will devastate the minds of all who read them…At last count there are SIX new books coming your way which we’ll be announcing very soon. No wonder we have no time to blog – we’re creating universes my friends…universes of fan-tacular goodness.
4) Use the word “fan-tacular” at least once…SCORE!
5) Continue to make Ben 10 the greatest cartoon on the planet…uh-huh! See the mysterious image at right to tease and please the darkest action-craving recesses of your cerebral cortices…
6) Eat more cake…Steve?

Not to brag, but...

Just in case you don't happen to read the Hollywood Reporter, we thought we'd share this little article about our little TV-Movie, Ben 10: Race Against Time. Please note the term "most watched telecast in network history."
Cartoon Network set records with the premiere of its live-action/CGI movie "Ben 10: Race Against Time," while Showtime's "Weeds" had its best season finale ever.
The 90-minute "Ben 10" movie, which aired at 8 p.m. Wednesday, averaged nearly 4 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. That makes "Ben 10" the most-watched telecast in network history, surpassing a 2002 telecast of "Dragon Ball Z."
It also was Cartoon's most-watched telecast in more than five years among kids 6-11 (1.5 million) and kids 2-11 (2.1 million) and ranked as the No. 1 telecast for the day among both demos in all of television -- broadcast and cable.
"Ben 10" also set records as Cartoon's most-watched telecast ever among boys 2-11 (1.6 million) and tied the record as most-watched telecast among boys 6-11 (1.2 million), on par with a 2001 telecast of "Dragon Ball Z."
The movie was based on Cartoon's animated action-adventure series "Ben 10" about a young boy who, with the flick of a powerful alien wristwatch, can turn into 10 different aliens with amazing superpowers.
Online at CartoonNetwork.com, last week's Cartoon Network Video sneak peek of "Ben 10" garnered nearly 666,000 plays, and the online game has secured 14.8 million plays since its Oct. 15 launch.
Did we call it or what?

A MOA short on a screen near you...if you're near Queens
Posted by Joe Kelly on November 5, 2007
What do Mans of Action do when they aren't saving hostages in foreign territories or cranking out killer cartoons and comics? Why, we write and direct films, of course! And once in a while, someone takes notice...
Joe Kelly's short film, Brothers' Day has been selected as part of the Queens International Film Festival. It’s a quirky little comedy about two brothers whose long-standing rivalry boils over when they fight over the vacation house of their youth. It’s Joe’s first directing effort, and all of the Mans are proud of him, but most of all shocked that he finished the thing.
The movie screens this Sunday, November 11th, so if you’re in the neighborhood, come on down!

I think I Cannes...I think I Cannes...

Man of Action will be working the floor at Mipcom this year, the marketplace for the world’s audiovisual content. (Yes, it does sound impressive, doesn’t it?) We’ll be there to suss the joint out, meet some of our favorite folks (folks who buy cool shows from Mans like us!), and pimp the heck out of our hot new joint, The 7Cs. For anyone who couldn’t make it to San Diego to check out our action-adventure epic set in the Bermuda Triangle, you can see the trailer in tiny-def here on our genius partner Samg’s website.
Viva la Mans!

One more reason to move out of the country...

Reporting from the department of “What the Dook?”, this just in thanks to MOA ally Hector of Brazil… Ben 10 Happy Meal Toys from McDonalds! Oh, but hold on Mans-Fans! Don’t shove your allowance at a purveyor of McGoodness and demand your Ben 10 Toys just yet! As of this writing, these bad boys are not available in the U. S. of A.! How can this be? What’s the hold up? Only the Shadow knows, my friend…and he’s in Brazil buying Ben 10 Happy Meals!
Be aware that the Mans are lodging an official complaint with the State Department, and hope to have Ben 10 Happy Meals in our greasy little hands soon. (We also hope to have them toss out our FBI surveillance files as well, but that’s another story.) But if you happen to be an international jet-setter, you don’t have to wait! Just zip down to Brazil an’ order a Happy Meal with extra Awesome!
